RnS Landscaping provides commercial snow and ice management services for commercial properties in the Dartmouth area of HRM. This has included daycare centers, retail shopping centers, industrial properties, recreational parks and centers, ice rinks, transit terminals and fire stations throughout Dartmouth, and more!

We have our own on-site salt storage with 50 ton capacity, which means we have salt when it is needed, any hour of the day

Snow Removal
Sometimes winter brings us more than we expect and snow piles up fast. When it does, many locations run out of space for all of that snow. RnS Landscaping has a solution for that!
RnS Landscaping is equipped with the ability to remove snow from properties as needed. We use loaders and dump trucks to load up excess snow and take it away. This means parking spaces don't have to be lost to store all that snow!
Our main method of clearing snow throughout and after a storm is plowing. We have a small fleet of plow trucks and equipment at our disposal.
Our current fleet includes 3/4 Ton up to 5 ton trucks, and different types of loader machines. All equipped with snow removal gear allowing us to be ready to handle all types of properties
Unfortunately plows can't get to all of the snow. So we have snow shovelers on staff as well. They can get right to your door and clear your steps.
To help increase speed, our shovelers have access to snow blowers with them during and after the storm. So we take advantage of this whenever possible. This helps reduce snow banks, increases speed and is a lot easier on the staff allowing them to handle their job that much better throughout and after the storm.
Ice is a big concern in the winter. It's slick, sometimes hard to see and can be dangerous. RnS Landscaping is equipped to meet your needs to ensure ice is controled making your property safe this winter.
Salting is the most common way on dealing with the ice. We use bulk salt that acts fast at breaking down the ice. We treat our salt with Magic-O to further increase effectiveness.
Sometimes salt isn't an option due to a specific surface. Salt can corrode concrete and other materials. RnS Landscaping then uses an advanced de-icer that will cut down the ice without causing further damage.
